Note: Please make sure to obtain ID & Password for online application by submitting the Entry Form no later than November 25, 2012.

Target Groups:

Government officials and senior students who are planning careers as government officials

Age Limit:

Under 35 years of age as of April 1, 2012
*Age limits only apply to those applicants who wish to be considered for the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship.

English Language Requirements:

TOEFL score: iBT 79 (PBT 550)
IELTS score: 6.0

1. TOEFL or IELTS original score report
*Test scores are valid for two years from the test date. (GRIPS TOEFL institution code is. 9040, a photocopy is not acceptable.)
or
2. Official documents that certify applicant’s undergraduate/graduate education was conducted in English.
*An official document issued by the educational institute you attended is required.

Eligible Countries:

Citizens of those countries with which Japan has established diplomatic relations.
Eligible Countries only apply to those applicants who wish to be considered for the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship.
