Macroeconomic Policy Program (One year and Two years) (How to Apply)

Scholarships:

a)

Japan International Monetary Fund Scholarship Program for Asia
Eligible Countries:
Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Lao P.D.R., Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pacific Island countries, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam

Embassy of Japan (Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship) *Please apply for GRIPS after the primary screening at the Embassy of Japan in your country.

Applicants who would like to enroll with IMF Scholarship:

Please contact the Embassy of Japan in your country. If you passed the primary screening at the Embassy of Japan in your country, please click here.

Applicants supported with any other scholarships and self-financed currently residing OUTSIDE Japan:

     GRIPS Online Application  [Deadline: 4 pm, May 14, 2012 (JST)]

 

Note: Please make sure to obtain ID and Password for online application by submitting the Entry Form no later than May 5, 2012.

Applicants supported with any other scholarships and self-financed currently residing IN Japan:

     GRIPS Paper-based Application  [Deadline: 4 pm, May 14, 2012 (JST)]

Target Groups:

The program is primarily aimed at government officials who are involved in designing and implementing macroeconomic policies, and professionals who need to understand macroeconomic fluctuations and the roles of monetary and fiscal policies

English Language Requirements:

TOEFL score: iBT 79 (PBT550)
IELTS score: 6.0

  1. TOEFL or IELTS original score report
    *Test scores are valid for two years from the test date. (GRIPS TOEFL institution code is. 9040, a photocopy is not acceptable.)
    or
  2. Official documents that certify applicant's undergraduate/graduate education was conducted in English.
    *An official document issued by the educational institute you attended is required.
