The 13th "GRIPS-Mansfield Foundation Joint Seminar" was held on January 29, 2010, on the topic of "Experiences with Individual Transferable Quotas (ITQs) as a Fisheries Management Tool and the Potential for their Inclusion in Japan."
The seminar featured Mr. Michael Clark (Mansfield Fellow), Fishery Management Specialist, National Marine Fisheries Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce, as a speaker and Dr. Masayuki Komatsu, a Professor at GRIPS, as a moderator.
