Prof. Ozaki elected as judge of International Criminal Court

Prof. Kuniko Ozaki was elected to serve as a judge on the International Criminal Court on November 18, 2009.
The International Criminal Court is a permanent court that tries persons accused of the most serious crimes of international concern, namely genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes.
Prof. Ozaki becomes the second Japanese judge on the ICC.
