GRIPS students to attend summer program at KDI School in Seoul, Korea
Four GRIPS students are headed to Korea on August 1 to take part in the four-week summer program at KDI School in Seoul.

One of the students who attended “Global Government Officials Seminar or International Policy” organized by Central Officials Training Institute of Korea (COTI), which was designed to build understanding of Korea’s civil service system and foreign policies, was heard to say “The seminar was very useful not only in identifying the legal and institutional characteristics of each country but also in building networks with international students and newly appointed Korean government officials.”

In addition to academic programs, students had opportunities to visit cultural heritage sites, local government, and Korean global companies, experience temple stay and home visiting programs and was able to enrich their understanding of Korean society and people in cultural, historical and social contexts.
