CAMPUS Asia Presents: Special Lecture Series
GRIPS CAMPUS Asia Program organized a lectures series inviting specialists in a field related to urban economics, urban planning, disaster management and foreign policy on August, 2014. The lectures were broadly attended by students from GRIPS, KDI School in Korea, and SPPM of Tsinghua university in China.

- August 15 (Fri) 14:00-15:30 – Mr. Hiroaki Suzuki, Former Lead Urban Specialist of the World Bank: “Financial Intermediaries in Urban Operations: Their roles and international experiences”
- August 20 (Wed) 14:00-15:30 – Dr. Sohee Minsun Kim, Research Associate at GRIPS: “Integrated approach to the planning and management of urban-rural land resources”
- August 20 (Wed) 15:40-17:10 – Dr. Sohee Minsun Kim, Research Associate at GRIPS: “Urbanization, climate change assessment: Biodiversity and ecosystem adaptation for resilience building”
- August 21 (Thu) 15:00-16:30 – Dr. Weena Gera, Postdoctoral Fellow at the United Nations University and Dr. Binaya Mishra, Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo: “Technology meets policy: Multidisciplinary approach to the disaster risk management”
